1. There will be no access to the Church Hall while
the restoration work takes place. We know it will be
inconvenient having the hall out of action, but it will be worth
it in the end! If you know
anyone who attends the Tai Chi class in the hall on Mondays, please
tell them there will be no class tomorrow (28th July). Their teacher
has been away and so hasn’t been able to tell them himself.
2. Today is the last day for submitting your answers to Peggy
Whitaker’s Summer Quiz. There is a box for your answers on
the trolley.
3. Please remember the Peasholme Centre for the Homeless is always
grateful for warm clothing, blankets, towels etc. Bob Jones will
collect if you telephone him on 760189.
4. Steve Cassidy, guitarist and singer is coming to give a concert
on Friday September 5th at 7.30 pm.
Tickets are £4 (£3 concessions) from Pat Lund 763047.
5. Stars on Sunday is taking a break for the summer. The restart
date will be announced in the notices.
6. A new link for St. Mary’s has been formed with Chris
and Anna Hembury, who live and work with young families in St.
Andrew’s Ward, Hull (Boulevard area). Later this year they
will be sharing with us at the 10.15am service. Their photographs
and details are at the back of church. Please pray for their work.
7. There will not be a Mothers’ Union Corporate Communion
on Tuesday August 5th as stated in The Outlook. The next one will
be on Tuesday September 2nd at 7.30 pm.
8. Could I please have notices for this sheet for 3rd and 10th
