Links at St Marys, HaxbyHere at St Mary's we celebrate our links with churches in different parts of the world and offer thanks for their faith and courage.

In particular we pray constantly for:

In the Czech Republic, with two congregations of a Church which in previous centuries suffered dearly for the freedom to read the Bible and to receive the Cup in communion;

Through CMS (Church Mission Society), partners Anna and Chris Hembury in a run down area of West Hull, supporting local Christians in running a weekday breakfast club for deprived children.

In distant Malawi, with the young women of St Michael's School, Malindi, the hope of the future in a country facing famine, poverty and disease.
